Subdivision of panels
The exhibition consists of 35 panels; which are divided up into a poster, introduction, historical context, artists, techniques and digital Switzerland.
Panel structure
Introduction:
One panel presents the introduction with a
general text on the topic of the exhibition content.
Historical context:
6 panels present the historical context in
relation to Switzerland (painting, illustration, fantastic film,
animation, video games, the relationship between cinema and games.
Artists:
Twenty panels form the main element of the
exhibition, presenting the artists and their work in the domain of
film or video game production: H. R. Giger, John Howe, Christian
Scheurer, Deak Ferrand, Natasha Devaud, Nicolas Imhof, Brigitte Wuest,
Silvio Aebischer, Simon Christen, Nadja Bonacina, Simon Otto and Alex
Ongaro.
Techniques:
Four panels present the techniques related to film
design (matte painting, concept design, special effects, other
techniques).
Digital Switzerland:
Three panels present current news in this
domain in Switzerland (the films Max & Co and Cargo), as well as
computer graphics training.
